Floral Bride Gown (Living Art)

This design is the fairytale themed . The color combinations and the texture is so  nice, The minute I saw the material I had the exact design idea in my head . The photo shoot idea, the hair style and head piece also came to my mind too. In the picture above she actually looked like a lioness in the jungle. I loved this pose so much. The natural woman power instinctiveness  revealed.

The model I used is as usual a school girl who would like to do make up and photo shoot.
 The material was $ 40 p/m x 4= 160 lining is $9  p/m x 3= $27. Tulle $5 x 4= 20. Other expense is $10 Making cost is $499
Total cost is $706

Back less design didn't look good on the models back  so it was modified by adding the little details. The result actually looked great on her back.

Emerald Green  School Formal Dress

This is my another recent creation . I am using a average Uni girl as my model. My aim is to get the good result using average people. This girl for the first time in her life standing in front of camera and posing as model

How amazing she looks? This not a set up. This is just a roadside near by my place. Front yard  of the house.

The material I have chosen is $11 per meter on sale at My Hung fabric store. This design is the basic  pattern . There is nothing very fancy and hard. It has mini skirt lining. The sheerness of the material stands out if there is no lining. Therefore, used  minimum  length of lining. The lace material used in top part of the body is also see through, it gives the balance of airiness and also decently covers the body too.  There is no lining in the top, only has bra cups.
To make this dress it will cost $ 44+15+10 for materials and $199 for making.
Please leave the comment what you think about the dress.

What kind of design is suit me and what kind of fabric is good?

What kind of design is good for a which kind of a fabric?

Sometimes the design of the dress can be really simple, but you can still achieve an elegant look that suits your personal style.
How?
Just choosing a nice fabric! You can make a pattern that could be the canvases of the artwork on the fabric. The picture below is an example of the kinds of fabric that are best suited with a simple cut. This fabric I found in some small local store. The dress I made is really basic pattern.

If you make a the dress with a complicated cut but use printed fabric, that it is waste of time  and money. If you want some complicated design in a dress then you should use plain fabric. The example picture below will show how it isn't that visible of  a design and you can't see what is going on the dress because of the print .This dress actually has lots of drape and ruching if you look carefully.

This red dress has two different type of fabric used. So it is very obvious that the ruching and draping going on. Because it has no fabric print so it is more effective to have different effects.

The cut of the dress is not so complicated but  because of two texture mixed it gives bit more interesting.

What Can A Real Dress Designer Do?

Pink Bridal/Ball Gown with Japanese Lace Detail
by Jass Boutique

I've had a lot of fun with Japanese lace in this dress. It is soft ethereal pink which gets me in a beautiful and blissful mood whenever I work with it.

This dress I designed incorporates a bit of Japanese essence . I made a little fan feature on the dress which gives it a bit of an oriental character to synchronize with the scalloped Japanese Lace.

I have also made a different style of a veil matching the oriental detailing on the dress and spreads wider as it flows to the floor. It will not cover your face as traditional veils do and instead is a wedding hair piece that still gives you the 'wow' effect of a veil but also allows you to showcase your hairstyle on the big day.

What is important to me is that the dress makes the woman look her very best and feel beautiful. My model is a  high school textile student. I love to take a simple every day person and transform them into a model.

Now its easy to give a dress to a professional model and there is no doubt that it will look fantastic, not necessarily because of the dress. The models will have a proportional body, tall height, and knowledge of how to stand and walk. No matter what kind of dress they wear, it will look good.

But the problem is, many dresses out there are catered to the model body and advertised on the model bodies. There are many different silhouettes, shapes, heights and sizes of women out there and these are all potentially stunning brides provided the designer and bride-to-be work together to bring out the best in her.

My challenge is that I want to make a dress according to the people's body to suit them. Regardless of their silhouette, you can make someone look absolutely breath-taking if you make the right dress for them.
That is my challenge and my passion.

A real designer is the one, who can make ANYONE in this world look gorgeous!

My next model is another school student who has bravely shaved her hair off for charity! When I offered her an opportunity to model one of my designs, her mother was surprised and skeptical. This is going to be an another exciting challenge for me! I am very excited for it!

Fashion in Japan 2013

I come back from two weeks tour in Japan. I went  after  16 year I left  there.
The Fashion is very different in there. Even in side Japan fashion is different in locations. In Tokyo There is Harajiku fafhions, Omotesando fashions, Shibuya Fashions. In kansai area there is totally different slang and off course different fashion too. I visit Tokyo to Kiushu and they have verity of culture over there.
The nail art is crazy over there. Really over the top. Too much glittery and sparkly. Too much of gems  and even real flower petals on them.
Japaneses  women are still want to be white. there is a lot of products in the market for whitening skin.
I love the winter jacked they have. Lot of lace and nice girly stuff was in fashion. Love the boots too. Love the four neck piece every one from teen to elderly were wearing.

These are my creation!

Please leave your comment what do think of these accessories.
I used all semi precious stone and crystals. I prefer those thing instead of plastic accessories.
Natural stone gives you good energy and plastic gives you muscles cramp they said. I am quite believer of natural thing!
